The White House is being briefed on the Swine Flu outbreak. President Obama and dozens of staffers were in Mexico last week prior to the Summit of the Americas.
The Swine Flu started in Mexico. Obama has a certain affinity for "pork". Coincidence? Hmmm...
I think we all suffer from "Pig Flu" here in America; ask Tea Party Goers who protested against massive government spending. Remember the Porkulus?
Have Obama's pigs have come home to roost?
The funny part here is that CNN actually puts the word "brotha" on the screen.
So I guess we finally are "post-racial"?
The woman who embarrassed herself and a nation during a pathetic, staged townhall meeting in Fort Myers, Florida could once again be out on the streets living out of her car under the stewardship of Obama's administration.
CNN reports:
The homeless Florida woman who made a tearful plea for help from President Obama earlier this year is still jobless and struggling financially.
Henrietta Hughes caught the nation's attention in February when she cried for help during one of Obama's town hall meetings.
After her plea, Hughes was given a free home to live in temporarily, but she is still struggling to find a job and might soon lose that home, CNN affiliate WINK reported Thursday.
Hughes, who is in her 60s, faithfully goes to an employment center in Fort Myers in hopes of finding a job.
"It's almost our second home," Hughes told WINK.
She and her son have taken a computer class at the center to help land work. Hughes said she has applied for as many jobs as possible but has struck out. Her son has had no luck either.
Now Hughes says she feels time is running out. The home she lives in was donated by the wife of a Florida lawmaker, Chene Thompson, who has been trying to sell the vacant home in the Fort Myers suburb of Lavelle since 2006. Once the house sells, Hughes will have to leave.
But Thompson told CNN that she will do everything in her power to make sure Hughes is not back out on the streets even if her house sells.
"I've told Miss Hughes ... she will never again be homeless, even if I have to personally assist her with her rent," said Thompson, who is a longtime advocate of the homeless.
Thompson said Hughes reminds her of her grandmother and that she and her son are "upstanding, good-hearted people."
"Her concern is that she doesn't want to be a freeloader," Thompson said, but Hughes and her son have helped deter vandals who have targeted vacant homes in the area.
"They really are a blessing for me," Thompson said.
But Hughes told WINK that she worries that she could end up living in her truck again if she has to move without a job.
Her plea to Obama came as he promoted his economic stimulus plan at a town hall meeting in southwest Florida.
After talking about the plan, the president opened the floor to questions from the crowd.
"I have an urgent need -- unemployment and homelessness, a very small vehicle for my family and I to live in," Hughes said at the time. "The housing authority has two years' waiting lists, and we need something more than the vehicle and the parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help."
Hughes said her son had lost his job, leaving them homeless.
Obama gave Hughes a kiss on the cheek and a promise: "We're going to do everything we can to help you, but there are a lot of people like you."
And just for fun; here's Julio!
On occasion, this website aims to destroy the will of other websites, because it is America. Some Blog called ConservativeExpress has been chosen for our little war, as many of you and the folks at Wonkette have seen the opportunity for battle. So let’s have fun with these bastards, shall we?

Apparently, the CEOs are censoring anti-Obama content from being aired.
No surprise to anyone, but the lines are becoming increasingly blurred between politics and the media. Is it odd that GE is the largest supplier of wind turbines and President Obama visited a wind turbine on Earth Day?
GE has also set in motion a plan to make billions off of Obama's cap-and-trade nonsense.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is pushing back on GOP charges that she knew about waterboarding for years and did nothing.
Pelosi says she was briefed by Bush administration officials on the legal justification for using waterboarding — but that they never followed through on promises to inform her when they actually began using "enhanced" interrogation techniques"In that or any other briefing…we were not, and I repeat, were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation techniques were used. What they did tell us is that they had some legislative counsel ... opinions that they could be used," she told reporters today.
Earlier, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) criticized Pelosi and other Democratic leaders for backing probes into the use of waterboarding — after reportedly failing to raise objections during a briefing on its potential use in 2002.
"Well, yesterday I saw a partial list of the number of members of the House and Senate, Democrats and Republicans, who were briefed on these interrogation methods and not a word was raised at the time, not one word," Boehner told reporters at his weekly news availability.
"And I think you're going to hear more and more about the bigger picture here, that what — the war on terror after 9/11 was done in a bipartisan basis on lots of fronts. And that bigger story will be coming out," he added.
Nancy Pelosi denies knowing U.S. officials used waterboarding — but GOP operatives are pointing to a 2007 Washington Post story which describes an hour-long 2002 briefing in which Pelosi was told about enhanced interrogation techniques in graphic detail.
Two unnamed officials told the paper that Pelosi, then a member of the Democratic minority, didn't raise substantial objections.
Joby Warrick and Dan Eggen wrote:
In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA's overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.
Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.
Say what you want about McCain, but when it comes to a debate on torture, I'll take his word for it.
Matthews finally weighs in on torture debate to protect the Tingler-In-Chief.

Megan appeared today on "The View".
Megan, your father lost to a radical fascist socialist with a narcissistic God complex, why don't you both go away.
Cheney was a 10 term Congressman, Defense Secretary and a Vice President. So with all due respect, Megan; "Shut Up"!
When James Carville is defending Cheney's right to speak, you know Megan is a moron.
Yet again, Team "O" blames the United States for terrorism? Granted, there is some truth to the US funding Afghanistan in its fight against the Soviet Union, but let's not get carried away saying our actions 20 years ago is fueling hatred and terrorism, Madam Secretary.
Cover you ears while I scream at the top of my lungs.
Where is Perez Hilton? Ms. Clinton is the "stupid bitch", not Miss California. Good god what is happening around here?
Hmmm...sounds a lot like "America's chickens, have come home to roost".
"It is my duty to enforce the law," says AG Eric Holder.
The Man who pardoned Marc Rich and the FLAN terrorists testified today on interrogation investigations.
Holder, like his boss, is radical, arrogant, dishonest and dangerous for America and National Security.
This guy never should have been confirmed as Attorney General. The backlash from the "torture" memos will have a deep, far-reaching impact greater than the Naive One-In-Chief can possibly comprehend.

UPDATE: Welcome Daily Kos and other Leftwing moonbats to Conservatism in action! I didn't realize that saying "uh-oh" made me an unhappy "winger"? But thank you! Stay a while; you might learn something about politics.
P.S. Your Chosen One is radical, arrogant, dishonest and dangerous. And to that end, I say "Uh-O(bama)"! Read below the videos about why we do not "legally" need to treat the terrorists as POWs.
Uh-oh... Shep went there!
UPDATE: And then there's this bit from Shep.
Mr. Obama is setting a dangerous tone with respect to terrorists. By treating them as standard Prisoners of War, protected by The Army Field Manual, his naivete on foreign policy and homeland security are frightening. The manual explicitly prohibits threats, coercion, physical abuse and waterboarding.
Mr. Obama had this to say about using the Manual, The Associated Press reports.
"We believe that the Army Field Manual reflects the best judgment of our military, that we can abide by a rule that says we don't torture, but that we can still effectively obtain the intelligence that we need," Obama said. He said his action reflects an understanding that "we are willing to observe core standards of conduct, not just when it's easy, but also when it's hard."

that of carrying arms openly;
that of conducting their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war.

Perez Hilton is giving gays a bad name. What a scumbag.
Liberals just cannot accept someone with religious beliefs. They hate it.
Miss California and Miss USA runner up Carrie Prejean appeared last night on "Hannity" to discuss same-sex marriage and the fallout from Perez Hilton's vicious misogynistic attacks.
Again, are any "women's rights" groups jumping to Ms. Prejean's rescue?
Why? Because they are not interested in women's rights, they are solely interested in being sycophantic subservients to the radical Left wing Socialist Marxist Totalitarian agenda being forced down America's collective throats.
Today before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. , Hillary Clinton was asked about Dick Cheney's request for information to be released showing the positive side of Bush-era interrogation tactics.
Wow, that's funny, Hillary. I don't consider you, your husband or Al Gore reliable either.
The words I wish to use to describe Ms. Clinton are not suitable for this post.

Speaking of smoking, anyone know if Obama quit yet?
Man. Damned if you do, damned if you quit. Pass the beernuts and smoke up Johnny!
Times Online reports:
Nicotine chewing gum, lozenges and inhalers designed to help people to give up smoking may have the potential to cause cancer, research has suggested.
Scientists have discovered a link between mouth cancer and exposure to nicotine, which may indicate that using oral nicotine replacement therapies for long periods could contribute to a raised risk of the disease. A study led by Muy-Teck Teh, of Queen Mary, University of London, has found that the effects of a genetic mutation that is common in mouth cancer can be worsened by nicotine in the levels that are typically found in smoking cessation products.
The results raise the prospect that nicotine, the addictive chemical in tobacco, may be more carcinogenic than had previously been appreciated. “Although we acknowledge the importance of encouraging people to quit smoking, our research suggests nicotine found in lozenges and chewing gums may increase the risk of mouth cancer,” Dr Teh said. “Smoking is of course far more dangerous, and people who are using nicotine replacement to give up should continue to use it and consult their GPs if they are concerned. The important message is not to overuse it, and to follow advice on the packet.”
9/11 Comments begin at 4:00 mark.
CTV reports:
Ottawa was rushing to defend its border security on Tuesday amid a diplomatic scuffle with the U.S., which erupted after Washington's homeland security chief suggested that the 9-11 terrorists entered the U.S. through Canada.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano made the comments during a media interview earlier this week, much to the chagrin of Canadians on both sides of the border.
In recent years, Ottawa has invested a great deal of effort into dispelling perceptions among Americans that Canada's border is an easy entry point for terrorists planning attacks on U.S. soil.
"Unfortunately, misconceptions arise on something as fundamental as where the 9-11 terrorists came from," said Michael Wilson, Canada's ambassador in Washington.
"As the 9-11 commission reported in 2004, all of the 9-11 terrorists arrived in the United States from outside North America. They flew to major U.S. airports. They entered the U.S. with documents issued by the United States government and no 9-11 terrorists came from Canada."
Later, Napolitano's staff attempted to tamp down the controversy by blaming the comments on a simple misunderstanding, said Wilson, who was the keynote speaker at the Border Trade Alliance meeting in Washington Tuesday.
"Her comment from her people is that she misunderstood," Wilson said, adding that he was planning a personal meeting with Napolitano in the near future.
The furor began when Napolitano was asked to clarify statements she had made about equal treatment for the Mexican and Canadian borders, despite the fact that a flood of illegal immigrants and a massive drug war are two serious issues on the southern border.
"Yes, Canada is not Mexico, it doesn't have a drug war going on, it didn't have 6,000 homicides that were drug-related last year," she said.
"Nonetheless, to the extent that terrorists have come into our country or suspected or known terrorists have entered our country across a border, it's been across the Canadian border. There are real issues there."
When asked if she was referring to the 9-11 terrorists, Napolitano added: "Not just those but others as well."
However, Public Safety Minister Peter Van Loan downplayed the comments and said that Napolitano is well aware that Canada was not the source of the 9-11 terrorists.
"We spoke about it back in March, and we were sharing a chuckle at the fact that the urban myth does circulate," he told CTV's Power Play.
"Ms. Napolitano understood quite clearly, then and now, that none of the September 11 terrorists came through Canada, as the 9-11 Commission found."

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) says some Bush officials who acted "outside" law may be prosecuted.
I have no confidence at all in Eric Holder being fair and balanced in deciding what was "within legal limits". I simply do not trust Holder or his boss.
This is horrible news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kellermann family and the Freddie Mac family.
Though details are still be sorted out, it would appear that the housing crisis took its toll on another victim. Tragic loss.
VIENNA, Va. -- David Kellermann, acting chief financial officer of Freddie Mac, committed suicide in his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning. He hanged himself.
Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings tells WTOP police responded to the Kellermann home after family members called police at 4:48 a.m.
"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.
"We're not going to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide."
A medical examiner will make the final determination that the death was a suicide.
Feinstein makes the case that Obama should reserve judgement on torture prosecutions until the Senate Intelligence Committee (which she runs) has looked into the situation.
Great, because Congressional committees are sooo effective.
When the F did "classified" become so "unclassified"?
Oh, that's right. January 20th, 2009.
"The biggest bipartisan effort the Senate Intelligence Committee has ever made," she says.
Again, Liberals definition of "bipartisan" is we speak, the GOP complies.
Robert "Peter Griffin" Gibbs was grilled by the press today on Obama's flip-flop on prosecuting Bush officials over torture policy.
What changed, he asks? Everything you idiot! Obama just told CIA employees yesterday that they would not be prosecuted!
Apparently, Rahmbo The Ballerina "Misspoke" on Sunday.
More proof, America, you've been had by a radical amateur.

In addition to appearing on Beck, Barkulius appeared on Fox & Friends this morning, and got to get into more detail with Gretchen Carlson.
"I've never actually been in banking...I've spent my entire life in public service," said Tim Geithner today in Congress.
Well that certainly explains a lot.
Jake Tapper reports:
Regardless of GOP criticism of President Obama for his smiling appearance with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Venezuelan state television -- "Venezolana de Television" -- has video of some more private moments between Presidents Obama and Chavez after the Summit of the Americas' closing ceremony.
It's unclear what they were talking about, but certainly the body language reflects a sterner President Obama than the grip-and-grin before the cameras.
Didn't he say a few months ago that he wouldn't prosecute Bush officials? Oh that's right, he's a liar.
Fox News reported today that MoveOn.org is putting together a petition to send to Holder asking for prosecution.
President Obama likes to claim the proverbial buck stops with him.
However, how can the buck stop with him if he keeps passing the buck onto members of his administration?
In his short Presidency, he has done this several times with various administration officials and members of Congress (i.e. allowing Nancy Pelosi to write the "stimulus" bill).
He continues to vote "present" on sensitive issues and it's getting really old.
Take a stand, Mr. President, please. Show some leadership for a "change".
Keep in mind, yesterday the CIA released the names of Gitmo detainees who have been waterboarded.
I guess we saw this coming for months, but now it's official.
Remember, Eric "Pro-Terror" Holder said terrorists could soon be your neighbor.
What purpose does any of this serve anyone?
The only people it helps are the terrorists! Whether or not Bush Administration officials are prosecuted, the damage is already done!
Our national security has been breached by our own President. Our counter-terror tactics have been released for the whole world to see.
Thanks a lot, Barry! You moron!
Once again, Obama proves he is arrogant, radical, dishonest and dangerous for America.
"Obama is blaming America for everything around the world."
--Rush on "On the Record" 4/20/09
Rush on Obama's constant apologetic attitude for the US toward dictators around the world.
"America is the greatest nation on Earth, but Obama's view of it is like Jeremiah Wright. We have the most anti-American administration in history. Shame on you people for voting for him! SHAME ON YOU!"
It must be hard to keep a straight face when you report that the President of United States going to cut $100 million from a $3.5 trillion budget and then say he is serious about cutting government spending.
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs couldn't pull it off. In the White House's April 20 press briefing, Gibbs was asked by Associated Press reporter Jennifer Loven why the $100-million target was so small and she even accused him of making a joke about it.
"I'm being completely sincere that only in Washington, D.C. is $100 million not a lot of money," Gibbs said. "It is where I'm from. It is where I grew up. And I think it is for hundreds of millions of Americans."
MS NBC's Ed Shultz gives House Minority Leader John Boehner a lesson in flatulence chemistry!
Despite his misquote about cow farts, I agree with Boehner about CO2; how exactly can the EPA consider carbon dioxide a "greenhouse gas"? It's the foundation of life on this planet. Plants are the foundation of the global food chain and plants use CO2 as the building block of photosynthesis.
Perhaps by "greenhouse gas", the EPA is referring to an actual greenhouse where plants are grown and not the made-up climate change hype of the "global greenhouse".
That said, farts are funny.
Dick Cheney appeared tonight on "Hannity".
Once again Dick Cheney says it better than any of us Conservatives ever could.
Rep. Michele Bachmann and Glen Beck discuss the Fed's move to take its preferred shares of bank stocks and convert them into common shares.
It's a back door into nationalization and a raw deal for tax payers.
It's very simple; Congress probably will not authorize more "bailout" money for the banks, so this is a shell game, bait-and-switch move towards socialist nationalization.
Another example of Obama's war on capitalism.
Obama Wants to Control the Banks
There's a reason he refuses to accept repayment of TARP money.
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told Katie Couric he is open to more unconstitutional terminations of CEOs, continuing Team "O"s assault on the markets, investors and capitalism.
President Obama, in a blatant abuse on his constitutional Executive power, felt it necessary to fire GM CEO Rick Wagoner.
Geithner has recently unveiled a plan designed to give Treasury Department the ability to take over financial institutions at the Secretary's choosing.
Recently, a bill has been introduced in Congress, HR 1664 Grayson-Himes Pay For Performance Act of 2009, which aims to cap pay which is not performance based and any and all employees who work for companies receiving bailout dollars.
It's a power grab to redistribute wealth, penalize the successful and establish a communistic "equality" among Americans. Regulation = control and power.
Team "O" wants to destroy free market capitalism. There is ample proof of Obama's war on investors. Welcome to The United Socialist States of America (USSA).

"I think Bush and Cheney would have done a far better job of defending their country," says Pat Buchanan.
"This guy [Obama] is not a leader. This guy went down there and virtually grovelled to these characters," he adds.
"This big fat guy was trying to shake his hand because he was the most popular guy in the room. Chavez was like a kid in bobby socks coming up to him. Where's the grovelling?" asked Matthews with a tingle.

It's official; Obama is delusional -- the most arrogant, radical, dishonest and dangerous President in American history.
Obama, invoking JFK's classic "not because it is easy, but because it is hard" line during a speech at the CIA headquarters in Langley, VA, proves once again that he is out of touch with how to combat the real dangers of the world.
Mr. Obama, you are no Jack Kennedy.
He says "we will defeat our enemies, because we're on the better side of history."
Who is this we? The Radical Socialist whose new BFF is a Hugo Chavez? Defeat our enemies? Which enemies would those be? Capitalism? Wall Street? America ideals and Judeo-Christian values?
Just wondering. Because the path down which Team "O" is headed, the "real" enemies of America, such as radical Islamist terrorists, are surely headed towards victory over America.
"Don't be discouraged" by recent mistakes, he adds, referring to the successful counter-terror strategies employed by the Bush Administration.
