The Census: It's Time For An Amendment Banning Both the Counting Of Illegals and Statistical Sampling

Stealing the Census: Why We Have To Live With It

The Unconstitutional White House effort to create a permanent voting majority by allowing Rahm Emanuel to oversee the 2010 census is now irrelevant.

While you were sleeping, Team "O" took over America.

ACORN is the largest radical Leftist group in America today.

ACORN thinks Americans have a Constitutional right to own a home, supports illegally breaking into homes , pressures Blue-Dog Democrats to back radical legislation and generally acts like above-the-law criminals.

ACORN was officially tapped as a Census partner in February and the CRAPulus Spending "Stimulus" Bill contains over $4 Billion for "neighborhood stabilization", i.e. community organizations like ACORN.

FOX News reported:

The U.S. Census is supposed to be free of politics, but one group with a history of voter fraud, ACORN, is participating in next year's count, raising concerns about the politicization of the decennial survey.

The Census director now says it will use "community organizations", like ACORN, to ensure illegal immigrants are counted in the 2010 census.

Nope, no joke. Even more absurd is that counting illegals has been proven to be constitutional.

Oddly enough, a great piece at The Huffington Post covers the debate from all angles.

The way the Fourteenth Amendment (Section 2) is worded, "whole persons" has been interpreted to include non-citizens:

"Representatives shall be apportioned among the several states according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each state, excluding Indians not taxed."

CNSNews reports:

The acting director of the U.S. Census Bureau, Thomas Mesenbourg, told CNSNews.com that the bureau intends to work with community organizations to make sure every illegal alien in the United States is counted in the 2010 Census.

The Census is used to apportion the seats in the U.S. House of Representative. There are 435 House seats that are divided among the states in proportion to their population, which is determined by the decennial census. States with more people get more seats in the U.S. House.

This means that a state harboring more illegal aliens can gain more House seats as long as the Census Bureau finds the illegal aliens and counts them. This also means that the illegal alien population resident in the United States during a census year has the potential to alter the regional and philosophical balance of power in Congress.

The Obama Administration has now tapped Robert Groves, an expert in statistical sampling, to replace Mesenbourg as the next census director.

Groves is a former Census Bureau associate director of statistical design, serving from 1990-92. He has spent decades researching ways to improve survey response rates. If confirmed by the Senate, he will take the helm less than a year before the decennial count, which has been beset by partisan bickering and will be used to apportion House seats and allocate billions in federal dollars.

When he was the bureau's associate director, Groves recommended that the 1990 census be statistically adjusted to make up for an undercount of roughly 5 million people, many of them minorities in dense urban areas who tend to vote for Democrats.

But in a fierce political dispute that prompted White House staff to call the bureau and express opposition, the Census Bureau was overruled by Republican Commerce Secretary Robert Mosbacher, who called the proposed statistical adjustment "political tampering."

The Supreme Court later ruled in 1999 that the use of statistical sampling cannot be used to apportion House seats, but indicated that adjustments could be made to the population count when redrawing congressional boundaries.

Anyone who has studied statistics or worked in a field which uses statistical analysis knows one thing.

Statistics can be used to prove whatever you want them to prove.

Having a pit-bull like Rahmbo The Ballerina at the helm and a brilliant statistician like Groves and counting illegals is one of the most frightening displays of the fascist take-over of America I have seen from Team "O".

And unfortunately, based on Utah v. Evans, the Supreme Court has ruled that statistical sampling is also Constitutional.

It's time for a Constitutional amendment. And this has nothing to do with the immigration debate or politics.

If you cannot vote, how can you have representation in Congress? The Census dictates Congressional districts and consequently, the Electoral College for electing The President.

How does that make sense to anyone?

  1. This is crazy!!! If you are an "illegal" in this country that means you don't pay taxes &
you don't vote. You live under the radar & basicly steal from every american. Not to mention befouling the legacy of every immigrant who honorably became an American.
It is unethical & devious to count these people in a census that contributes to filling our seats in the house & congress. These are the people who will set policy & decide how are taxpayers money is spent. Since these people do not vote or pay taxes how can one possibly think they deserve representation in American affairs? The word "illegal" says it all. It's bad enough that due to our governments inability to secure our borders that so many illegals are now here among us running our country into the ground & recieving more assistance from our government than her own citizens. But I'll be damed if illegals will ever have a say in anything that involves the setting of our policies & the delegation of our funds.
If you want your say in this country you become a legitimate citizen & contribute. Just when you think you've seen it all, guess what - It gets deeper!!! This radical left administration intends to use any means possible to have their way & it is killing the dignity & integrity of America. I urge every patriotic, legitimate, tax-paying American to slap this down!!! Together we stand, divided we fall. Anyone else???
