Levi Johnston Talks About Having Sex With Bristol Palin; Gov. Sarah Palin Issues Statement Blasting Levi (Video)

Mama Bear is none too happy!

Bristol Palin's ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston appeared on "Tyra" with his family.

Gov. Sarah Palin issued a very blunt statement in response to his appearance, saying the Johnstons are more concerned about exploiting their "fame" than for taking care of Levi and Bristol's child.

That statement is at the end of this clip, after Tyra and Levi discuss "safe sex".

  1. Who cares about Bristol, leave the poor hillbilly kids alone.

The real question is: was Sarah using a condom when she conceived her latest gift to the Alaskan gene pool?

  2. This just shows how lucky the girl is that this small minded and stupid little person didn't stay with her and her baby. I wonder how much they are paying this piece of crap and his parents to go on TV. I think in the long run he will find that being a enemy of SARAH PALIN IS NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA.

  3. Don't bash Sarah. After all she is and was married when the baby was born. I think Levi was dead wrong going on a talk show to explain about the sex he and Bristol had. I agree, wonder how much money they were paid.

  4. I think the country would be a lot better off if stories like this one weren't on the mainstream cable networks. Where have you gone, Jerry Springer, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you

  5. I gotta agree snarky... but if your liberal media buddies would stop bashing the Palins, maybe it could be relegated to the Springer-ific Page Sixes of the world.

Until your mouthpiece Matthews stops referring to Sarah Palin as a "mail order bride", your opinion is taken with a proverbial grain of salt.

  6. Snarky Librul here, for some reason i can't post through google account at work.

Well, I'd ask Chris to stop, but I don't get MSNBC on my cable system. so I don't have a lot of leverage.

I've long said that 24 hour news networks have not been a good thing, it means that we have to manufacture an "outrage of the day" by 8PM, and over the course of weeks, months, years it has led to an unbelievable amount of polarization in our political dialog, we've become more like Yankees/Red Sox than friendly rivals on the same team, and this hasn't been good. I've also said I see little difference between Matthews and Olbermann on the one hand and O'Reilly and Hannity on the other. All these guys are in it for their ratings. While that is the American way and all that, it hasn't helped the dialogue.

Frankly for some of the less sensational and more objective press you have to get on the web outside the USA. A couple sites are www.smh.com.au (Sydney Morning Herald), www.timesonline.com.uk (Times of London) www.telegraph.com.uk (Telegraph of the UK, the Tory mouthpiece) and www.guardian.com.uk (the Labour mouthpiece).

You brought up Palin so I'm going to get last word in here - I'm not going to defend the "mail order bride" comment, but equally I think there are a fair number of legitimate criticisms (and no I don't mean the "Is Trig really her son") yet anytime any raises these issues is it really Palin bashing? did you realize that prior to the election, Joe the Plumber had more press conferences than Governor Palin? Though, I guess she now has 4 years to get her story out there and time will tell.

BTW and again I don't have time to get into every story posted around the right wing blogosphere, but what exactly is this meme around the telemprompter thingy? I speak publicly on my job, and I know I sound less gooder when speaking extemporaneously than when scripted, like 99% of the people out there. I'm not sure that speaking well off the cuff is the most critical aspect for being President and I'm not sure why we expect an equal standard on off the cuff. He's certainly better than Bush (either one of them). The best politicians in speaking off the cuff I think were Clinton (and, really, either of them) and, on the Republican side, Mike Huckabee.
