Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) has released an April 14 video showing US ship workers trying to escape Somali pirates. Lautenberg chairs the Commerce subcommittee with jurisdiction over the maritime industry.
The crew of The Liberty Sun escaped unharmed.
