ReplyDeleteI don't think the caller was a Republican. Sadly, Rush isn't a conservative either. He is too much tied to the Bush-wing of the Republican party which means big government conservative.
ReplyDeleteMcCain has made a career of crossing the aisle to vote for Democrat measures. We should not be surprised that he did not attract the party faithful, as he has not been faithful to the party.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, McCain could have won from the middle, and got over 40%of the vote with less than 15% of the funding. His choice of Palin revitalized his campaign, but she was thrown to the wolves by his campaign workers who thought she got too much attention.
I don't think the call was a Republican either. He made too much sense.

Not all big government is the same. Defense is a job that, according to the Constitution, is appropriate for the Federal government. Education, Agriculture, Medicine, and intra-state commerce regulation were all well known to the Founders, yet the legislature is not provided powers in those fields. The legislature is provided powers to coin money, but the power to print money is withheld. The power to administer the census is given to the legislature, not to the Executive.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the guy voted republican either. I don't that caller has ever voted republican. I agree with Rush that if this guy were the kind of guy that McCain was trying to attract--no wonder the Republicans lost.

Bush and his neocon buddies used the military to advance their left-wing theories that came out of the French Revolution. None of the "freedom" spreading welfare whores are conservatives.

ReplyDeleteI find it amusing that the guy called Rush a NAZI. NAZI's were socialists, more akin to the Democrat party than Limbaugh. Look at all the Socialist policies Obama and the Dems are pushing through as fast as they can. Even on the personal level, many Dems are close too the NAZI; smoking, homosexuality, vegetarianism, denigrating religious people. Looks like a fun four years for those who disagree with the new national socialists.
