Mancow wouldn't know a "tea bag" if it smacked her in the face.
The Left and the MSM have no idea what the Tea Parties are all about.
She also blasts Fox News for its willingness to cover the April 15th Tea Parties next week.

Heh, Right Wingers have been outed as Teabaggers, Classic!
ReplyDeleteAs a fiscal conservative who actually believed in those principles when the Republicans were in power, I guess I should be happy at this phenomenon. And I would be if it had any intellectual honesty, any positive proposals, and any recognizable point.
ReplyDeleteWhat it looks like to me is some kind of amorphous, generalized rage on the part of those who were used to running the country and now don't feel part of the culture at all. But the only word for that is: tantrum.
These are not tea-parties. They are tea-tantrums. And the adolescent, unserious hysteria is a function not of a movement regrouping and refinding itself. It's a function of a movement's intellectual collapse and a party's fast-accelerating nervous breakdown.
The sense and emotion I feel from the 'teabaggers' is much like what I felt after the 2004 election - absolute disbelief that this country could make such a decision. The reason I see conservatives as concerned is they believe Bush stood for everything they truly believed in - US primacy, nationalism, God , guns, no gays, no illegals, where criminals get a fair trial before we hang them. In their mind, Obama repudiates all of that.
ReplyDeleteThese rallies are an effort by a group that feels highly marginalized to find some comfort in the company of others with similar beliefs, and to express their fear and frustration over what they see happening to their country
I agree that it's a tantrum, but not over the issues you mention. Their issue is far more about their world-view than any one of these policy concerns. In their minds, this is the "conservative" equivalent of the Watts and Stonewall demonstrations. And when you (and others) dismiss these concerns as "adolescent, unserious hysteria," it only hardens their resolve.
What will make this go away is time, and realizes that America has "survived" the threat posed by a President who represents so much that they find threatening.
This woman...she is mean and hateful. Why on earth would anyone watch her? I could only watch a few seconds and had to turn it off. What a nasty gal. BTW, because liberals are so vicious, I will remain anonymous. Don't want this liberal administration digging into my personal life like they did to Joe the Plumber. The Gestapo right here in the US of A! Scar-y!

ReplyDeleteWhy the reference to "Mancow", what does that exactly mean?
ReplyDeleteSome could read that as pejorative and a reference to her sexual orientation, which is totally irrelevant to your post.
You don't agree with her politics which is fine it is a free country but let's be a bit civil here please.
um so, does anyone here "know" the meaning of "to teabag"...??? please oh please google it and you'll see why the left is laughing...
ReplyDeleteThe embarassing part of this is that teabagging means something really sexual and have for many years. Rachel Maddow was laughing and joking about the other meaning of this. They need to find a new slogan fast. They are already a laughing stock among younger people. I would suggest anyone curious as to what this really means would google the urban dictionary and put in teabagging.
ReplyDeleteThe term, "teabagging" has a sexual connotation. When you "teabag" someone you dip your balls into their mouth. The GOP should really do some research before they open their mouths...omg, get it? The repubs should ahve just told us all to mushroom stamp the prez.
ReplyDeleteMaddow wouldn't know a "tea bag" if it smacked her in the face.
ReplyDeleteShe would NOT let you anywhere near her face with your tea bag, dude.
Do you even know what "teabagging" means?
You wana know why she's laughing at you?
ReplyDeleteTeabagging: a slang term for the act of a man placing his testicles in the mouth of a sexual partner.
Really, could you not have googled it before naming a political campain affter it?
The more liberal this network gets, the worse their ratings get. What is their solution? Get more liberal! I'm sure the 5 people who actually watch Maddow's show thought this was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love the irony. The supposed wholesome, moral, Christian, do-goooders using sexually explicit slang against the leader of the country. How's that for a moral compass?
ReplyDeleteRe: the anonymous poster who said,

Please your are PROJECTING. It's Fox news who is hatefilled and it was the Bush Administration that allowed the government to "dig" into your personal life. Don't you just love what you created?
Most people who watch Rachel actually have a brain and some intellect. The fact is that she is so highly intelligent that for the majority of conservatives her message has gone right over your head. Are you so naive that you have forgotten all of the Bush wiretapping? I love the hipocracy of the morale majority, you have no problem with adultry, fornication, birth out of wedlock. The Palin family is truly a visual of American morality. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. The glass just may cut you when it breaks!
ReplyDeleteYou're an idiot. (1) It's MADDOW and (2) the point isn't whether or not she would know about "tea-bagging." The point is that maybe we Republicans shouldn't have branded an entire day of protests the same thing as a sex act. Rachel Maddow being a lesbian doesn't have anything to do with this bad strategy. I'm a republican and every stupid "tea bag the democrats" sign i see just makes me cringe. We look like idiots!
ReplyDeleteThis "teabagging day" should be a great way to bring the Log Cabin Republicans back into the fold.
ReplyDeleteI just dont see the tea protests ending well.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that you are whittled down to nothing but the bitter rump, and you are discovering that not only does the camera add ten pounds, but it also adds a heap of crazy. When you play back the nonsense you have been spewing for the past couple of years, you don’t like what you see. It sounds worse live than on the blog.
Sure, the 20% of the country that thinks George Bush did a good job will be impressed but you run a risk the 80% think you fools.
Next we can look forward to "shrimping" and "snowballing" parties, right?

Dems snowball each other...Al Franken is leading the way with all of his Lib friends. They're also hosting a pole smoking contest...
teabagging is a sexual term and it just shows how out of touch Republicans are with basic information
ReplyDeleteExactly. The mere fact that they picked the term "teabagging" indicates how completely out of touch they are with today's culture.
ReplyDeleteLook out next week for the rusty trombone parade ...
ReplyDeleteThis proves that we should be doing a lot more tea bagging!
ReplyDeleteAhahah yeah I love it. The Repugs are getting what the deserve A Tea Bag right in face. Leave it to the Republican Ad wizard who came up with this beaut of a idea. ahahah Tea Bagging. Oh god that is great.
ReplyDeleteCOME TO THE TEA PARTY NOV.2010 AND VOTE OUT ALL LIBERAL DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICAN
ReplyDeleteHell yeah, teabag that stupid fuck Obama. They think they're clever but they don't realize that Barack is on the receiving end of the teabag action. Sadly, he seems to like it. I guess if I was married to an ugly predator (seriously, look at her mouth) looking witch like he is I might turn gay too. Oh well, if Barney Fife wants a mouth full of Republican balls who am I to argue.
