New York Times: "The Idea That We Shouldn't Be Rooting" For Obama Is "Just Stupid." (Video)

New York Times columnist and Obama drooler David Brooks appeared on C-SPAN.

He alludes to Rush Limbaugh's statement that he hopes Obama fails.

Of course, this comment comes after Brooks refers to The One as an "incredibly impressive smart man".

He adds that "we should rooting for our President because it's rooting for ourselves."

Sorry David, but I'm not rooting for myself; I'm rooting for America.

And in that sense, I hope Obama's neo-fascist socialist takeover of My Country fails.

  1. I'd have a lot more sympathy for the conservative "I Hope He Fails" line of argument if they had respected though who disagreed with Bush 43 as being something other than traitors.

It's not the 'I hope Obama fails in his efforts to do (thing conservatives don't like)" I find objecionable, its the hypocrisy.

  2. Yeah, root for obama even if he kisses the hand of islam, even if he is dead wrong on health care, even if he is dead wrong on funding ACORN, even if he takes American tax dollars and sends them to Hamas, even if he fails to show his birth records and even if he fails to show his Harvard work, just agree with the man even if he might be guilty of treason, just agree to be agreeing.

  3. Snarky: Get over yourself! You people slammed Bush and everyone in his administration every second of every day!

I pledged on Inauguration Day to give Obama a chance and so far he has been far more radical than I ever thought possible.

It is very American to question our leaders. Idolatry on the other hand, lends itself to radical fascist dictatorships. Be careful.

I hope America succeeds and President Obama is my President and I respect him and his office.

But by no means to I respect and agree with his policy.
