President Obama is planning a full-on media blitz to lobby for support for the Congressional Radical Anti-American Pork (CRAAP) Act of 2009. Here is why.
Just last Thursday, 45% of Americans supported the CRAAP.
In a Gallup poll released today, that support has dropped to 38% as currently written.
While 75% of Americans want Congress to pass some sort of legislation, the current plan continues to lose support as Americans learn more about the CRAAP.
Nearly 80% of Americans are concerned that the CRAAP will not stimulate the economy fast enough.
Just 10% of Americans believe the CRAAP will stimulate the economy this year.
53% say the plan will not have an effect on their family's financial situation, or will actually make their financial situations worse.
So much for timely, targeted and temporary.
