Sen. Arlen Specter cited a potentially-tough primary race in switching from the Republican to Democratic party, but a look at his voting record and the political makeup Pennsylvania may offer other clues as to why he decided to change.
Forget donating to Toomey; how about encouraging Pennsylvania to defeat him in the Democratic Primary next year! Wouldn't that be some poetic poetic?
