Follow Tea Partys at Free Republic!

New Jersey Tea Party April 15th!

Michelle Malkin has extenseive tea party coverage on her blog. Visit her link.

Tim Geithner obviously has no idea what he is doing and is in way over his head!

The IRS cannot possibly have the resources to audit every American!

I am calling for a real tea party! An official Tax Revolt!

Not one American should pay his/her taxes this year!

They want to waste our money!?!? What money! Keep it for yourselves!

What are they going to do!? Put every American in jail?

They don't have the guts, the means or the right!

  1. I agree! We should be able to defeat these Socialist bastards. Come on folks, lets put our heads together and come up with some ideas.

  2. Ummmm... yeah. Go ahead. But when you find yourself alone in your own personal tax revolt - and in handcuffs while all your worldly goods are taken by the government and you face real jail time, don't come crying to us.

    You see - Americans don't have the guts to stand up to their government in a meaningful way. They have been programed for generations now to not question the government, and that massive taxes are good.

  3. First, welcome how the other half (well, actually more than half) felt the last 8 years.

    Second, I think realistically your course is to not vote for Obama in 2012 (and, in 2010, not voting for your Democratic Senator and/or Congressman).

    Third, I dont think running a campaign of being against 'Socialist bastards' is particularly effective - returning marginal tax rates to 1990's levels and that the biggest driver of government spending is that baby boomers will start collecting money rather than paying money - is effective. Spend your time in the wilderness to develop issue based, well thought out, proposals that offer a credible plans. You may think Obama's plans are ineffectual, which is fair enough. However the middle class in this country has real concerns, by every objective measure they didn't get better under the Bush years (not being 'snarky', just the facts) and if you don't address those concerns, you are dooming the Republican party to a shrinking base. A serious opposition is important (The Democratic Party was feckless as an opposition party under Bush, and I think the country and the Bush Presidency would have been better off with a better opposition).

    Guess what Snark, I did not vote for Bush (idiot was easy to spot) soooo 8 years of his hell following the 8 years of Bubba gump bs. I also did not vote for this moron either (huckster was easy to spot)soooo min 4yrs more hell & if he has his way...a never ending hold "all Hail the O or die" (he & his cronies have want to be done with term limits...hmmmm). The problem lies in the 2 party system that allows all debate to be crudely ended with exultations of d*** democrats or f****** republicans. With are (wink wink nudge nudge) representatives & senators beholden to no one but their party. They represent the party not the people. So in affect we already have taxation without representation. They lie without pause, because they think "we the people" are to stupid & easy to deceive. Clinton & the Demoncratic party created the sub-prime market, it was considered a great political victory for them. They vigorously used their voting block to stop or water down all legislation that would have been placed upon it. Once it collapsed & brought the country down, it was that moron Bush's fault. You ever wonder why our government let a few companies fail before they started bailing out with Freddie & Fannie. It is interesting how many high ranking Democrats were heavily invested in these two quasi-governmental agencies (save our money first - yes Obama even had a quarter mill invested....hmmmm). It is also interesting how much money these two entities poured into the election & re-election campaigns of Democrats (yes even Obama's presidential campaign.....hmmmmm). Now that your ready to fire a "f****** Republican" at me, I AM AN AMERICAN!!!! I have never found either party to stand behind their words or ideologies. Let me leave you with a few words by one of "our" founding fathers;

    AUGUST, 1776... "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." Samuel Adams

    Yours Truly,
    Son of the Republic
