62% Want Stimulus Plan to Have More Tax Cuts, Less Spending; 50% of Americans Think "Stimulus" Will Make Things Worse

President Obama hit the streets today to promote his CRAP-ulus Spending Bill. The Senate is set to vote on the bill on Tuesday.

But, duh! Americans pretty much think the CRAPulus is, well, crap.

From Rasmussen Reports:

62% of U.S. voters want the plan to include more tax cuts and less government spending while just 14% would like to move in the opposite direction with more government spending and fewer tax cuts.

48% of U.S. voters say that, generally speaking, increased government spending is bad for the economy.

57% of voters nationwide say that tax cuts generally help the economy. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that only 17% disagree and believe that tax cuts will hurt the economy.

Finally, 50% of U.S. voters say the final economic recovery plan that emerges from Congress is at least somewhat likely to make things worse rather than better.

But again, remember, government knows best. Who are we, the American people to disagree with the Socialist Moonbats up on Capitol Hill?

Keep emailing, keep calling your representatives and senators. Eventually, they have to listen.
