Neil Cavuto again blasts MSM's lack of coverage of the tea parties.
He tells MSM that Fox doesn't discriminate which "populist" protests it covers. He illustrates that the network covered the Million Man March, which fell way short of a million, and has covered both Pro and Anti Iraq War protests.
Take that Commie News and MS LSD!
I really wonder if CNN and MS NBC are going to break down on Wednesday and cover the protests. The snarkists like Olbermann, Matthews and Maddow aren't going to be able to resist.

Fox News Channel did not exist at the time of the Million Man March
ReplyDeleteWrong tony.
ReplyDeleteCavuto said "Fox"... NOT "Fox News"- and Fox was on the air in 1985.
ReplyDeleteIt's not out of the question that the Tea-Party participants might someday be respected by history as substantial patriots- same as 1773.
With the damage Obama is doing to this country in every sphere, taking the wind out of his sails until a proper attitude adjustment in Nov 2010 is absolutely vital... he just needs to be slowed down for 18 mos, then we can cripple or destroy his legislative accomplices.
Liberty or Death!

The Million Man March was a political march convened by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in Washington, DC on October 16, 1995
ReplyDeleteThe Fox News channel was created by Australian-American media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who hired Republican political strategist and former NBC executive Roger Ailes as its founding CEO. The channel was launched on October 7, 1996[1] to 17 million cable subscribers.

So Neil is wrong, but its faux news so no great surprise.
Frankly have not watched MSNBC or CNN of late (gotta get caught up on Idol, y'know). We'll see how it pans out. I know that when the annoyed left tried these types of protests they tended to have mixed messages come out so will see if these organizers have learned from them.
Original tea party wa because of taxation without representation....what is the excuse for this tea party when we are on the same tax code we have been on for the last 16 years. Wow this conservative party has gone more looney then usual. And not to mention that Obama's tax proposal will bring us to lower taxes then even Reagan had for the middle class and the same for uperclass.
ReplyDeleteHow about debating the real issue rather than Cavuto's slip up or parsing the meaning of what "is is".
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of weird what the MSM decides to cover.
Right now there is a story on the front page of CNN.com talking about the poor children of illegal immigrants who have to chose between their parents and their country.
There is a certain editorial bias in the selection of which stories should be on the front page or the lead story.
Hey Neil
ReplyDeleteWe will be in Sacramento tomorrow and are looking forward to seeing you there. I will be with my wife and 2 Kids. Their sign will say "Quit spending our future" My sign says "Give me liberty not debt" My 14 year old sone will be making a video of our experience and posting it on youtube. We are (as you can tell by the signs) mostly concerned with the spending ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ISLE. Pleas join us in making our voices heard. "It's for the children" "Power to the people" "Time to speak truth to power" man.
