Obama Hypocrisy 2.0: Some Like It Hot, But Only If You're The President Can You Set Your Thermostat to 72 Degrees of Higher

Change you can grow orchids in.

Barack Obama said last year on the campaign trail that “we can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.”

That was then, this is now.

From the NY Times puff piece on the "casual" President:

The capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was, however, a logical explanation: Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.

“He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”

Wait a second!? We thought he was from Illinois... you know the Land of Lincoln!? That's for clearing that up, Dave!

Oh that's right... he is from the place that suits his snarky mood of the day... Michelle Malkin reminds the President mocked Washingtonians yesterday, telling them to "toughen up" in the cold and ice and snow.
