Exactly. He forgot he was President and reacted instead of gathering the facts -- not a very "Presidential" moment.
Conservative columnist Kathleen Parker says that President Obama "stepped in it" with his comments on the Cambridge police, and suggests that "he was being the person Obama and forgetting momentarily that he was the President Obama, and everything he says matters," but added that "he did do the right thing" by trying to quell the controversy.
Bob Schieffer also asked the "ambidextrous" Parker - as glossed by Schieffer - her comments on what would happen if the incident was between two women.
