Did Marines Give Obama the Silent Treatment?

While the spin from the Obama team is obviously filled with support the troops mumbo jumbo, other outlets have a different take.

Does the military respect their new boss?

As Obama entered the room, it was absent of the regular fanfare of cheering and clapping. The diners were polite, staying seated at their respective tables and waited for the president-elect to come to them to stand up.
Maybe it's because he never supported them and told Katie Couric that he still believes the troop surge in Iraq was the wrong idea.
