Tammy Bruce: Obama's Mass Amnesty of 35 Million Democrat-Voting Welfare Recipients (Video)

Tammy Bruce discusses Obama immigration plan on Fox and Friends Sunday.

Video is grainy, but the point remains.

President Obama is crazy. He is radical, arrogant, dangerous and dishonest.

Amnesty for 35 Million people? That's his solution to immigration?

This a power grab; pure and simple. If Obama were truly concerned about immigration reform, he would start with securing our borders.

But he doesn't truly care about our national security, the economy or anything else that our President should be focused on.

His lone motivation is for his radical Obumunist Agenda is to establish a Socialist State and make it next to impossible for Republicans to stop it. Team "O" will do everything it can to buy votes. This "amnesty" crap is more of the same.

The Unconstitutional White House effort to create a permanent voting majority by allowing Rahm Emanuel to oversee the 2010 census is one example.

While you were sleeping, Team "O" took over America.

ACORN is the largest radical Leftist group in America today. ACORN thinks Americans have a Constitutional right to own a home, supports illegally breaking into homes , pressures Blue-Dog Democrats to back radical legislation and generally acts like above-the-law criminals.

ACORN was officially tapped as a Census partner in February and the CRAPulus Spending "Stimulus" Bill contains over $4 Billion for "neighborhood stabilization", i.e. community organizations like ACORN.

This amnesty efforts is just another example.

Obama's Tax Plan To Elimate Charitable Deductions Is Nothing Short Of Another Power Grab; Violates Personal Freedom

President Obama's budget plan contains a tax provision which will limit itemized deductions for charitable contributions.

First, isn't Obama the man who calls for a Nation of Service? His own website lays out his dedication to charity and volunteer work. This blatant hypocrisy is becoming quite routine with this young administration.

Second, does anyone think this is a good idea? Is this really the best way to pay for Obama's bloated budget?

I'm not implying the only reason philanthropic people donate to charity is for the tax break -- I'm a cynic by nature, but I do believe there are many decent people left in America.

However, I do believe there will be some negative impact on charitable donations.

The biggest problem I have with this policy is that once again, the Liberal Social-Crats are once again usurping individual freedom and legislating what to do with your money.

It another example of wealth redistribution, Obama's Robin Hood-onomics!

The plan is simple: use your tax dollars to spend on "charitable" causes which the Democrats see fit to serve their needs. That is, they will use our tax dollars as a power grab to buy a permanent voting majority.

Americans must never trust government to spend our money more wisely than us, especially when it comes to charity.

The Washington Times reports:

Still, the charitable giving deduction reduction, which would limit deductions for couples making $250,000 or individuals making $200,000, provoked the most heat Thursday. Mr. Obama is counting on that provision to raise $179.8 billion over 10 years.

"Some of the reforms and offsets contained or referenced in the budget, such as the limitation on itemized deductions, raise concerns and will require more study as we determine the best policies for getting America back on track," said Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, Montana Democrat.

Roberton Williams, senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center, said it's impossible to calculate the exact effects of all the tax changes, but said the overall result is clear - less philanthropic giving.

"This will lead people to give less to charities if they behave the way they've behaved in the past," he said. "We've already seen a drop in giving as a result of the economic collapse. On top of that, this will just reduce the amount of giving."

Asked about that, Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag said Mr. Obama took care of that by giving charities government money to make up part of the difference.

"Contained in the recovery act, there's $100 million to support nonprofits and charities as we get through this period of economic difficulty," he said.

He disputed that giving would drop, and said an economic recovery will help charities, too.

There is it, clear and simple, the CRAPulus Spending bill already includes money to support "nonprofits and charities". But it's simply not up to the government to decide where our philanthropy goes! It's like welfare and other entitlements.

Americans are altruistic by nature, but the government cannot tell me where to spend my money! You cannot force "charity" through legislation!

Step by step, our freedom is being stolen from on to create Obama's "Vision" of a Totalitarian, Socialist State.

The Next Right provides more evidence why this is a poor idea:
Moreover, this attacks Obama's base. Michael Barone noted to me today that universities can't be happy about this. Add to that list churches, the arts, the environmental groups, and organizations that serve the poor. This is a transfer of wealth not from the rich to the poor -- because the rich already given the money away, in many cases to groups that serve the poor -- but from the best kind of charitable aid to the worst kind -- government.

This is a massive opportunity for conservatives to kill something Obama is foregrounding in a broad bipartisan alliance. Powerful constituencies on the left could join the opposition. And this is a direct slap at the nation's churches, which direct the a big percentage of charitable aid in this country.

The Atlantic reported this bit of hypocrisy:

I asked an administration official to respond to the question about whether charitable contributions will decline if itemized deductions are reduced for those making more than $250,000:

"Right now, if a middle class family donates a dollar to their favorite charity, they get a 15-cent deduction, but Warren Buffet and Bill Gates make the same donation and they get a deduction that is more than twice that. The proposal walks that back some of the way because it's time that everyone is responsible for our future."

That is simply not true. This tax provision will have a deep impact on non-profit charities in addition to our liberties.

Obama is arrogant, radical, dishonest and dangerous.

Democratic Sen. Byrd Slams Obama's Multitude of "Czars" As A Power Grab; Warns Against Chief Executive's Policy

Thank god at least one Democrat understands the Constitution!

These "czars" are dangerous and indeed, nothing short of a power grab.

The entire CRAPulus Spending Bill is a power grab (ACORN, welfare, Unions, nationalized health care, etc.)

The $275 Billion Housing Bill is a power grab.

The Census plan is a power grab.

The Unconstitutional White House has done nothing but create a permanent voting majority.

Politico reports:

Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.), the longest-serving Democratic senator, is criticizing President Obama’s appointment of White House “czars” to oversee federal policy, saying these executive positions amount to a power grab by the executive branch.

In a letter to Obama on Wednesday, Byrd complained about Obama’s decision to create White House offices on health reform, urban affairs policy, and energy and climate change. Byrd said such positions “can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances. At the worst, White House staff have taken direction and control of programmatic areas that are the statutory responsibility of Senate-confirmed officials.”

While it's rare for Byrd to criticize a president in his own party, Byrd is a stern constitutional scholar who has always stood up for the legislative branch in its role in checking the power of the White House. Byrd no longer holds the powerful Appropriations chairmanship, so his criticism does not carry as much weight these days. Byrd repeatedly clashed with the Bush administration over executive power, and it appears that he's not limiting his criticism to Republican administrations.

Byrd also wants Obama to limit claims of executive privilege while also ensuring that the White House czars don’t have authority over Cabinet officers confirmed by the Senate.

As presidential assistants and advisers, these White House staffers are not accountable for their actions to the Congress, to cabinet officials, and to virtually anyone but the president,” Byrd wrote. “They rarely testify before congressional committees, and often shield the information and decision-making process behind the assertion of executive privilege. In too many instances, White House staff have been allowed to inhibit openness and transparency, and reduce accountability.”

Sen. Byrd, a glimpse of genius in between naps!

Another Power Grab: Obama 'Very Committed' to Legalizing Aliens

Why don't we just open up the borders, fire all the border guards and eliminate every Immigration and Customs Enforcement employee! Maybe that will save some money to pay for the CRAPulus Spending Bill! We won't have to worry about national security anymore anyway when we cozy up to Iran, Hamas, North Korea, Venezuela, etc.

So why not give 12 million illegal immigrants amnesty and then have them call 1-800-ACORN! 12 million more votes for Liberals.

At least Obama acknowledged the public might not be too fond of adding 12 million people onto the payroll during an economic "crisis".

Then again, it sounds like he and the Moonbats in Congress have pretty much made up their minds.

News Max reports:

Despite the fact that federal, state and local governments are reeling from a fiscal crisis, President Barack Obama is sticking to plans to help an estimated 12 million illegal aliens gain citizenship.

Last week, Obama called into Univision Radio's Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo show, fulfilling a promise to be a guest if elected.

"I promised you that I would be on the show when I was president, and here I am on the show," Obama told Sotelo.

Asked by Sotelo about the issue of immigration, Obama promised action soon.

Obama said: "Well, as I've said every time I’ve been on the show, Piolín, we're going to make sure that we begin the process of dealing with the immigration system that's broken. We're going to start by really trying to work on how to improve the current system so that people who want to be naturalized, who want to become citizens, like you did, that they are able to do it; that it's cheaper, that it's faster, that they have an easier time in terms of sponsoring family members. And then we've got to have comprehensive immigration reform."

Obama added he was "very committed" to move on the immigration issue in the next several months.

Obama admitted that pushing citizenship for illegals is difficult today.

The idea "is probably tougher now that it was, partly because of the fact that the economy has gotten worse,’’ he said. “So what I've got to do is I’ve got to focus on the economy. I've got to focus on housing, and make sure that people feel a little bit more secure; at the same time, get the various immigrant rights groups together and have them start providing some advice in terms of what strategies we're going to pursue in Congress."

In 2006, Congress sought to pass a Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill, but the Senate and House could not agree on a compromise over the thorny issue of giving 12 million illegals citizenship.

Republicans now fear that Obama and Congressional Democrats are pushing for amnesty to increase Democratic electoral chances. New immigrants vote overwhelmingly Democratic, studies show.

The hits just keep on comin'!
