Rep. Michele Bachmann appears on Bill O'Reilly's show, and is told that she is "second to Sarah Palin in far left angst... They're after you now."

"I think it happened with a competing cable network that took an interest in me, and it's only grown," she responds. "Now, it's almost like I have personal stalkers, only they have Tv shows, so it's kind of an interesting phenomenon."

Bachmann also suspects that MSNBC has a "stereotype for women" in which she does not fit into.

President Barack Obama says passage of his health care proposals would create new jobs by making small business startups more affordable.

Frankly, he is out of his mind! Small businesses will be destroyed by Obamacare! The non-tax "tax" on small businesses and individuals will severely damage many businesses!

He is just talking out of both sides of his mouth and lying to America again! This guy is amazing! He thinks if he keeps telling the same lies that eventually people will believe him.

Newsflash, Mr. President: America is onto you and we don't want your horrible health care plan.



A Heritage report found these stats on Obamacare:

The mandates will cost businesses at least $49 billion per year.

Another 10.2 million workers would be at risk of slower wage growth and cuts in other benefits.

The mandate will cause 9 million mostly low-wage and part-time workers to lose their employment-based health insurance.

Human Events reported this back in August:

If Obamacare were a prescription drug, ads for it would say: “Use with extreme caution. Side effects include regulatory headaches, irritated taxpayers, and swollen unemployment.”

That’s right. Serious studies indicate that Obamacare would kill millions of jobs. With 9.4 percent unemployment, this is hardly the time to foul the labor market even further.

The culprit is Obamacare’s proposed tax burden on employers with payrolls exceeding $250,000.


*Section 313 of H.R. 3200, House Democrats’ key bill, concocts a tax of up to 8 percent on the total payrolls of employers who do not give their workers health insurance. This tax would apply to employers who do provide insurance, albeit not plans “qualified” by the new Health Choices Commissioner. Employers would be taxed on personnel who refuse company coverage in favor of their spouses’ policies. Otherwise-generous employers who grant insurance would suffer this tax hike if they paid anything less than 65 percent of premiums for family plans and 72.5 percent for individual coverage.

*Section 1802 empowers the Health and Human Services Secretary to slap a new, still-undetermined tax on every health plan in order to finance a new Comparative Effectiveness Research Trust Fund.

*Section 441 imposes surcharges of 1 percent to 5.4 percent on high-income individuals. Many of these “greedy rich people” are employers who will have less cash available to pay employees.

These and the bill’s other taxes create a $583 billion disincentive to hire people and an equally valuable inducement to distribute pink slips.

The man who ran John McCain's presidential campaign warned Friday that Sarah Palin could lead to a 'catastrophic' election result for the GOP in 2012 if the former Alaska governor captures the party's presidential nomination.

"I think that she has talents," Steve Schmidt, the former campaign manager of McCain's failed presidential bid, told CNN's John King. "But my honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate for the Republican Party in 2012, and in fact, were she the nominee, we could have a catastrophic election result."

The comments came during The Atlantic Magazine's First Draft of History Conferece, held at the Newseum in Washington, DC.

"I don't think it's inconceivable that she could be the Republican nominee for President of the United States," added Schmidt — who, among others in the McCain campaign, butted heads behind the scenes with Palin in the weeks leading up to Election Day. "I do think it's fairly inconceivable that she could be elected President of the United States."

Looking ahead to Palin's upcoming book — entitled "Going Rogue" — Schmidt predicted he would be portrayed as "anti-rogue in the running of the campaign."
