Al-Qaeda's No. 2 Slams Obama/Evokes Racial Slur Used by Malcolm X

Despite our conservative beliefs and careful scrutiny of President-Elect Obama and his transition, there is no place in the world for this kind of hateful rhetoric.

Ayman al-Zawahri is clearly out of touch with reality. I hope Mr. Obama does not let this sway his committment to counter-terrorism efforts in Afghanistan.

  1. Didn't Joe The Biden warn us of stuff like this? Don't worry, Obama will send the Clinton's to negotiate because they did such a great job stopping Bin Laden in the 90s...NOT!

  2. Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US was the President's Daily Brief given to U.S. President George W. Bush on August 6, 2001. The President's Daily Brief (PDB) is a brief of important classified information on national security collected by various U.S. intelligence agencies given to the president and a select group of senior officials. The brief warned of terrorism threats from Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda over a month before the September 11, 2001 attacks.[1]

Not that clinton couldn't have done somewhat better but lets not pretend this was a one party failure.

  3. Let's not forget that terrorist operate on a different time schedule than the rest of us. One month to prevent an "attack" is hardly sufficient time to act considering this plot was in development for years, mostly under Clinton's watch.

The fact of the matter is that under President Bush we have not been attacked since. If we can give him credit for anything, it is this.

Thanks for your opinion. Well said!
