Hillary Clinton Pisses Off Jewish Leaders; Local Jews Say Secretary Of State Not The Hillary Clinton They Used To Know

Hillary: Thumbs her nose at Israel, U.S. Jews

Wait, you mean Hillary has no spine? She will say or do anything for political expediency?

A deceitful, manipulative, flip-flopping Clinton? No way!

Unreal! The Clintons are among the most dishonest slime in this country.

From WCBS:

In a swift about face from her views as New York's senator, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is now hammering Israel over its treatment of Palestinians in Gaza.

As first lady, Clinton raised eyebrows when she kissed Suha Arafat.

Since she was then seeking a Senate seat the resulting brouhaha caused her to "re-think" her positions.

"I'm a very strong supporter of Israel," Clinton said on Feb. 17.

On Thursday, as secretary of state she had yet another about face in the form of angry messages demanding Israel speed up aid to Gaza. Jewish leaders are furious.

"I am very surprised, frankly, at this statement from the United States government and from the secretary of state," New York Daily News publisher Mortimer Zuckerman said.

"I liked her a lot more as a senator from New York," Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn, said. "Now, I wonder as I used to wonder who the real Hillary Clinton is."

Clinton's decision to hammer Israel comes as the Clintons and President Barack Obama are planning to give the Palestinians $900 million toward the rebuilding of Gaza in the wake of the Israeli offensive that was sparked by Hamas rocket fire.

"We are working across the government to see what our approach will be," Clinton said.

"I don't believe that we should be in a position at this point to do anything to strengthen Hamas," Zuckerman said. "We surely know what Hamas stands for as I say they are the forward battalions of Iran."

For some, Clinton's change of position is upsetting.

"I feel it's unfortunate that they don't continue the policy of the Bush administration, which was much more pro-Israel," said Akiva Homnick of Jerusalem.

"I happen to have a lot of family who live in Israel and I feel, personally, when you are dealing with people who are very strong against you, you have to stand up to them," said Tami Davudoff of Kew Gardens.

"Hillary had Mrs. Arafat here and she invited Mrs. Arafat for lunch when she was the first lady," added Babak Chafe of Great Neck. "She is pro-Palestinian 100 percent, really. Of course, we always knew it."

"The easy way to make a peace agreement is to pressure Israel because you can't pressure the Arabs," said Solomon Loewi of Monsey, N.Y.

Well, she no longer needs the votes so it's no surprise her policy has shifted to her Pro-Hamas, Pro-Palestine, (Pro-Terror?) Boss.

Obama Pledges Nearly $1 Billion To Gaza; Hamas Will Extort Money To Fight Israel

Does anyone really think this money will not go to Hamas to support its mission to wipe israel off the face of the earth?

As much as I want to think I'm being a conspiracy theorist dingbat, everyday Obama proves he is pro-Islam, pro-terror and anti-American.

Just saying...

Reuters reports:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States plans to offer more than $900 million to help rebuild Gaza after Israel's invasion and to strengthen the Western-backed Palestinian Authority, U.S. officials said on Monday.

The money, which needs U.S. congressional approval, will be distributed through U.N. and other bodies and not via the militant group Hamas, which rules Gaza, said one official.

"This money is for Gaza and to help strengthen the Palestinian Authority. It is not going to go to Hamas," said the official, who asked not to be named as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton planned to announce the funding at a donors' conference in Egypt next week.

Neither the United States nor Israel have direct contact with the Islamist Hamas movement which runs Gaza and remains formally committed to the destruction of the Jewish state. (Editor's note: Obama also said he had no direct contact with Rod Blagojevich and then we all learned that was a big fat lie!)

The official said the pledge was a mix of money already earmarked for the Palestinians and some new funding.

"The package is still shaping up," he said, when asked for specifics over how the money would be spent and a breakdown of old and new funding.

In December, the former Bush administration said it would give $85 million to the U.N. agency that provides aid to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

FBI Shuns CAIR Over Ties to Hamas, Beware of CAIR Says Some House Republicans

From Fox News:

The FBI is severing its once-close ties with the nation's largest Muslim advocacy group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, amid mounting evidence that it has links to a support network for Hamas.

All local chapters of CAIR have been shunned in the wake of a 15-year FBI investigation that culminated with the conviction in December of Hamas fundraisers at a trial where CAIR itself was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator.

The U.S. government has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization.
News Max has the CAIR reaction.
  • "This is an unfortunate legacy of the Bush administration's misguided and counterproductive efforts to marginalize mainstream American Muslim organizations," CAIR's national office said in a statement to FOXNews.com. "It is not surprising that we would be singled out by those in the previous administration who sought to prevent us from defending the civil rights of American Muslims. We look forward to better relations with the Obama administration."

***

Members of CAIR are planning a lobbying field trip to Congress.

However, Red County has obtained a letter from some members of the House which states:
Dear Colleague:

Members should think twice before meeting with representatives of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). The FBI has cut ties with them. There are indications that this group has connections with HAMAS.

Several members of the U.S. House of Representatives Anti-Terror Caucus have sent a Dear Colleague letter today emblazoned with the warning: "Beware of CAIR". The signatories include: Reps. Sue Myrick (R-NC), Pete Hoekstra (R-MI), John Shadegg (R-AZ), and Paul Broun (R-GA). Rep. Myrick is the author of the Wake Up America Agenda aimed at countering Militant Islamic infiltration of American institutions.
***
Sit back and watch how President Obama handles this one. CAIR is a HUGE supporter of Obama having written several statements recently approving of Obama policies on closing GITMO and reaching out to the Muslim world.

Can Anyone Get Jimmy Carter To Shut Up? Supports Nuclear Power and "Axis of Evil" Member North Korea, Says Terror Group Hamas Can Be Trusted

Habitat for Hamas? Oh, the Humanity!

  • Mr. President, you are truly a nut case.

We're pretty sure President Obama already has too many cooks in his foreign policy kitchen. He certainly does not need Jimmy Carter's headache.

The Former President not only thinks North Korea is a nice place, but says only "some people" think Hamas is a terrorist organization.

Looks like Carter forgot that Hamas's charter calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and its replacement with a Palestinian Islamic state in the area that is now Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

From Fox News:

  • Former President Jimmy Carter said Monday he believes North Korea would be willing to give up its nuclear weapons for U.S. diplomatic recognition, a peace deal with South Korea and America, and if it got new atomic power reactors and free fuel oil.

  • "It could be worked out, in my opinion, in half a day," Carter said in an interview Monday with The Associated Press.

  • "When Bush came in he threw that in the wastebasket, and it started all over with the 'Axis of Evil,' and so therefore they began to reprocess their (nuclear) fuel," Carter said.

  • U.N. inspections were barred by North Korea, and Pyongyang tested a nuclear bomb in 2006.Anxious to dismantle the country's atomic program, five regional powers hashed out a 2007 deal promising energy and other aid to Pyongyang in exchange for nuclear disarmament, but the agreement has been hindered by disputes between North Korea and the United States over how to verify what nuclear activities the country had undertaken in past decades.

This comes on the heels of an interview on The Today Show in which Carter showed sympathy for terror group Hamas, saying the radical Islamic extremists are trustworthy. He added that "some people" think Hamas is a terrorist group.

(Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit)

YNet News :

  • Hamas can be trusted, former US President Jimmy Carter said Monday, in an interview on NBC's 'Today' show. Carter spoke with NBC's Meredith Vieira about his perspective on the Middle East conflict, and his new book, "We Can Have Peace in the Holy Land."

  • According to the former president, Hamas never deviated from their commitments as per the ceasefire agreement. He said that, during his meetings with Hamas leaders in Damascus and Gaza, he was promised that Hamas would honor agreements between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israel, as long as they were supported by public referendum.

  • Hamas did bad things. I'm not defending them. But they did adhere to the ceasefire fully, Carter maintained. He added that Israel has a choice between a one-state solution – which is, for Israel, a catastrophe, and a two-state solution, which everyone would support.

  • In his interview, Carter explained the rationale behind his book, saying "I am writing another book about the Middle East because the new president of the United States is facing a major opportunity — and responsibility — to lead in ending conflict between Israel and its neighbors. The time is now. Peace is possible."

Carter also said Middle East Envoy George Mitchell should meet with Hamas... "without preconditions", one would assume.

Seems the Israelis do not particularly agree.

From One Jerusalem:

  • Former President Jimmy Carter wants United States Middle East Envoy George Mitchell to talk to Hamas. One wonders why Mitchell would waste his time having a private meeting with Carter.

  • Carter's anti-Israel views are widely known and there is nothing of substance Mitchell can learn from Carter.

  • Cater in a television interview had complimentary words for Hamas. I guess terrorist organizations have a special warm spot in Carter's heart.

President Carter does not have a very good track record with Middle East Peace.

Mr. Carter, do the world a favor and stick to you day job .

Israel To Withdraw From Gaza Just Prior To Obama's Inauguration

Coincidence? Think again. It is our belief that Israel, though not necessarily afraid, is skeptical of the level of support it will receive from the Obama Administration.

From Breitbart:

JERUSALEM (AP) - Gaza's streets brimmed with energy Monday as people picked up the pieces of their lives, while Israeli officials said they planned to pull all troops from the territory by Barack Obama's inauguration as president of the United States on Tuesday.

More from The Jerusalem Post:

1. Israel expects pressure on the illegal outposts issue. I hear this not just from the panel, but also from Israeli officials. Most of them also think that this pressure can’t be denounced: Israel has made a promise to evacuate, but took its time. Well, I guess it's time.

2. An interesting split on the Saudi peace plan. Some experts believe that this plan will give Obama the opening he will be looking for (I wrote about this topic here). Obama has indicated, as did many other members of his administration, that if a Palestinian state is to be established, the Arab world will have to play a contributing role. The Saudi plan - or a version of it - can be the vehicle with which to test Arab intention of really delivering the goods.

3. Most members of this panel expect Obama to try to achieve peace in his first term. I'm not so sure. Last week, Obama was very careful not to raise expectations.

4. Following the Gaza war, the issue of Palestinian unity government is on the table again. If the panel is correct, the Obama team (similarly to the Bush team two years ago) will not be enthusiastic about the establishment of such government. If Obama will end up encouraging Fatah and Hamas to join forces, it might be a first sign that the panel needs to take a second look at this new administration and its intentions.
