Hillary Clinton has finally addressed the international media; you know, like kind of doing her job! Unprecedented that it took months to do so. I wonder why.
"Unanswered or deflected" in her long-awaited foreign press debut.
No worries, Obama will throw her under the bus soon enough.

Obama Hypocrisy 2.0: Kentucky Reeling...Governor Calls In The Entire National Guard...Where Is Obama? Remember Katrina?

MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) - Gov. Steve Beshear called up his entire Army National Guard on Saturday, tripling his troops with his state still reeling from a deadly ice storm that knocked out power from the Midwest to the East Coast.
More than half a million homes and businesses, most of them in Kentucky, remained with out electricity from the Ozarks through Appalachia, though temperatures creeping into the 40s helped a swarm of utility workers make headway. Finding fuel - heating oil along with gas for cars and generators - was another struggle for those trying to tough it out at home, with hospitals and
other essential services getting priority over members of the public.
The addition of 3,000 soldiers and airmen makes 4,600 Guardsmen pressed into service. It's the largest call-up in Kentucky history, which Beshear called an appropriate response to a storm that cut power to more than 600,000 people, the state's largest outage on record. Many people in rural areas cannot get out of their driveways due to debris and have no phone service, the governor said.
"With the length of this disaster and what we're expecting to be a multi-day process here, we're concerned about the lives and the safety of our people in their own homes," Beshear said, "and we need the manpower in some of the rural areas to go door-to-door and do a door-to-door canvass ... and make sure they're OK."
Local officials grew angrier at what they said was a lack of help from the state and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In Kentucky’s Grayson County, about 80 miles southwest of Louisville, Emergency Management Director Randell Smith said the 25 National Guardsmen who have responded have no chain saws to clear fallen trees.
“We’ve got people out in some areas we haven’t even visited yet,” Smith said.
“We don’t even know that they’re alive.”
Smith said FEMA was still a no-show days after the storm.
FEMA spokeswoman Mary Hudak said some agency workers had begun working Friday in Kentucky and more help was on the way. Hudak said FEMA also has shipped 50 to 100 generators to the state to supply electricity to such facilities as hospitals, nursing homes and water treatment plants.
“We have plenty of folks ready to go, but there are some limitations with roads closed and icy conditions,” she noted.

This Is Obama's "Transparency"?
Fun facts from New Busters! Is this what he meant by change?
According to Sun-Times columnist and long-time Chicago journalist, Carol Marin, journalists at Barack Obama news conferences have come to realize that Obama has pre-picked those journalists whom he will allow to ask him questions at the conference and many of them now "don't even bother raising" their hands to be called upon.
One wonders why journalists are allowing this corralling of the press? Would they have allowed George W. Bush to pre-pick journalists like that? Would they meekly sit by and allow themselves to be systematically ignored, their freedom to ask questions silenced by any Republican? Would journalists so eagerly vie with one another for the favor of Bush like they are Obama's?

David Shuster Is Still An Idiot
David Shuster and Sarah Palin documentarian John Ziegler had another fight and it was glorious.
Round two, on "1600 Pennsylvania Ave," was glorious.
Shuster does not get it:
"When you're doing a documentary, when you're evaluating the credibility of someone, because you're going to spend a lot of time doing a documentary or a news story, isn't it important to at least try and test her credibility as opposed to just being taken in by their wonderful personality?"
--David Shuster, on Sarah Palin, yet ironically citing the reason why Obama was elected. Anybody alive out there?
For those of you keeping score at home....Obama IS the cult of personality.
In related news, more resonsible coverage from The Boston Herald. They can't understand why Mama Grizzly won't go away. Why do they hate her so much?
No Liberal Media Bias, right?
Accept reality, you Leftist Liberal Scum!
There, we said it...

SHE IS A GOVERNOR! She has actually been an executive! What has the Obamamessiah ever done!?!?!
America, good luck!
If you are not disgusted by this then you have no soul.
Obama did nothing today except nominate "clearly unqualified" Leon Panetta to head the CIA.

Ann Coulter Gets Last Word/Conservative Author Finally Gets Her Day at NBC
Ann Coulter appeared on NBC's "Today Show", the Atlanta Journal-Consitution writes:
"I am like Roland Burris. I have been turned away, but I’m back,” Coulter said. Topics include her use of B. Hussein Obama to describe the president-elect, and single motherhood as the source of “almost any” societal ill outside of Alaska.
WARNING: The video is 9 minutes long.
Ms. Coulter herself responded to the soap opera on her own site.
After NBC canceled me "for life" on Monday -- until seven or eight hours later when the ban was splashed across the top of The Drudge Report, forcing a red-faced NBC to withdraw the ban -- an NBC insider told The Drudge Report: "We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," explaining that "it's such a downer. It's just not the time, and it's not what our audience wants, either."
In point of fact, I'm not particularly critical of Obama in my new book. I'm critical of the media for behaving like a protection racket for Obama rather than the constitutionally protected guardians of our liberty that they claim to be. So I think what the NBC insider meant to say is that NBC is not interested in anyone so highly critical of NBC right now. It's such a downer, it's just not the time, and it's not what their audience wants right now, either.

Barack Obama: The New Parenting Guide/Role Model For Kids
Disgusting infatuation article from The Washington Post. Seriously, get over it! (Via Michelle Malkin)
Sherry Jones was driving her 13-year-old son, Malcolm, to school the other morning when he mentioned something about some kid he didn’t like.
Something about the kid being a jerk.
Jones told him that wasn’t kind. When you speak of people, she said, always speak good of them.
“Look at Barack! . . . During the campaign, no matter what, Obama always took the high road,” she told him. “During the debates when John McCain would say a dig, Barack would never react. . . . He was always positive.”
Malcolm, who likes a good debate, was, for that moment, quiet.
In that silence, Jones realized that something about her spontaneous, trapped-in-the-car lecture was working. “If my son didn’t agree, he would let me know,” says Jones, an accountant who lives in Silver Spring. “He always has something else to say. . . . Usually, he will say, ‘Yeah, but . . . ‘ When I use Barack Obama as an example, I can see him. He’s quiet. He may sit up a little straighter.
Be Like Barack! What about lying about the "bad kids" he is hanging around? Will he use the Obama defense? I didn't know Reverend Wright was saying those things, I thought Bill Ayers was reformed, no idea about Tony Rezko, no idea about Blago...
Obama has become that nice man up the street you want your kid to grow up to be like.
Is this like the Arrested Development song "Mr. Wendell"?
"Yes," says Amber, 14, an eighth-grade student, "because Obama can do it. I see myself studying harder. I stay more focused. I take more notes. I am asking a lot more questions."
Obama discipline is complicated. Kids relate to him in a way that they say they have not related to other politicians. He might be the president-elect, but he's cool, he's young, he speaks a language they understand.
That's right, he's cool, he's young, he's hip. The Cool-in-Chief.
"He's different than other presidents," Malcolm Jones says. "He has kids who are young. And he was endorsed by a lot of icons."
Well, if he was endorsed by Oprah and Sean Penn...I stand corrected.
Harlan Jones, director of the New Sewell Music Conservatory in Northwest Washington (and no relation to Malcolm), is sitting in his office talking about Obama with his 12-year-old daughter, Nia, a sixth-grader whose grades have slipped from her usual straight A's.Hope and Change! Is that what the next four years are going to be like? Will the media at least pretend not to be in love with the ObamaCon?
"You have to get back on page, just like he did," he tells Nia. "We know you are better because you exemplified that through past studies. Suppose he had gotten down? With that in mind, Nia, please straighten up. Look at his strategy. He surrounded himself with people who were hardworking. . . . Who are your supporters?"
"My parents," Nia says, submitting to the lecture.
"I'm glad you said that. . . . You have a support system to do what?"
And Nia, tidy in her blue-and khaki school uniform, obediently answers, "Succeed."

Like, OMG! Caroline Kennedy, You Know: "You know...you know....you know....you know"
"I'm really coming into this as somebody who isn't, you know, part of the system, who obviously, you know, stands for the values of, you know, the Democratic Party," Kennedy told the Daily News Saturday during a wide-ranging interview.
"I know how important it is to, you know, to be my own person. And, you know, and that would be obviously true with my relationship with the mayor."
"You know, I think, you know, we're sort of, uh, sharing some of this experience. And um, as I've said, he was a friend, a family member, and um so, and uh obviously, he's, you know, he's also had an impressive career in public office."
"It's really, you know, it's not about just the Kennedy name," she said. "It's about my own work and what I've done with those values."

Obama/Blagojevich Connection: The Myths. The Facts. The Lies
Sweetness-Light.com/Article from KHQA The article was removed from KHQA website on Wednesday December 10th
- QUINCY, IL — Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled. That's one of Obama's first priorities today. He's meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.
A November 8th story from KHQA alludes to the same.
- QUINCY, IL -- Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.
Obama met with Governor Rod Blagojevich earlier this week to discuss it. Illinois law states that the governor chooses that replacement. There’s already been speculation about his selection…from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Junior to Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs Director Tammy Duckworth.
Retraction of the story from KHQA
- KHQA TV wishes to offer clarification regarding a story that appeared last month on our website ConnectTristates.com. The story, which discussed the appointment of a replacement for President Elect Obama’in the U.S. Senate, became the subject of much discussion on talk radio and on blog sites Wednesday. The story housed in our website archive was on the morning of November 5, 2008. It suggested that a meeting was scheduled later that day between President Elect Obama and Illinois Governor Blagojevich. KHQA has no knowledge that any meeting ever took place. Governor Blagojevich did appear at a news conference in Chicago on that date.
Michelle Obama's Involvement.
Jesse Jackson Jr on the offensive of his defense.
Is the Liberal Elite Media covering for Mr. Obama again? Why is Blago so upset at Obama in the tapes?
Essay From The New Yorker, July 2008
- That year, he gained his first high-level experience in a statewide campaign when he advised the victorious gubernatorial candidate Rod Blagojevich, another politician with a funny name and a message of reform. Rahm Emanuel, a congressman from Chicago and a friend of Obama’s, told me that he, Obama, David Wilhelm, who was Blagojevich’s campaign co-chair, and another Blagojevich aide were the top strategists of Blagojevich’s victory. He and Obama “participated in a small group that met weekly when Rod was running for governor,” Emanuel said. “We basically laid out the general election, Barack and I and these two.” A spokesman for Blagojevich confirmed Emanuel’s account, although David Wilhelm, who now works for Obama, said that Emanuel had overstated Obama’s role. “There was an advisory council that was inclusive of Rahm and Barack but not limited to them,” Wilhelm said, and he disputed the notion that Obama was “an architect or one of the principal strategists.”
America, we beg you, fight for the truth. What did Obama know?
http://change.gov/page/content/openforquestions (A new open forum on the Transition Team website, but questions about Blagojevich are being "labelled inappropiate" and not readily visible.)
Our guess is that he is not personally involved in the corrupt "Pay to Play" Chicago Way but he knows a lot. But, he did come from the Chicago Political Scene.

New York Times OpEd: Disgusting, Hateful, Arrogant Proof of Liberal Media Bias
(Click the link above to read the article)
The Times actually published this piece of garbage! Publisher's are free to give book deals to whomever they choose. It's part of the American spirit to venture into any realm we choose. Who are Timothy Egan and the NY Times to be the arbiters of whom should be allowed to pen a book?
Liberal, elite media. That's who.
Then again, who ever said Libs understand free market enterprise, capitalist spirit and free speech. But of course, it's perfectly fine for the Savior Obama to pen anything he wants because he is the poster child for liberalism. Liberals support free speech only when it supports their cause.
Liberals are the party of the working class, right? Not when they slander and attack hard working citizens like Joe the Plumber. But in the elite media's mind, "How dare he question the Chosen One?"
Liberals are also the party of inclusion and acceptance? Not when it comes to Sarah Palin. The Elite New York/Los Angeles fail to recognize that most American's have more in common with Joe and Sarah than with Timothy and Barack.
How dare you use your inalienable right to free speech to attack someone else for exercising his you Liberal Hypocrites!
Egan sounds like another whiny, bitter Liberal pointing out the failures of others to suppress his own insecurities.
We support a full boycott of The New York Times.

Attorney General Reminds Us President Bush Has Kept Our Country Terrorism-Free
The following is an excerpt from Attorney General Mukasey's speech last night. As many of you know, the speech went unfinished and we wish the Attorney General the best. He was released from the hospital earlier today. However, much to Mr. Mukasey's chagrin, coverage of his speech was limited to his collapse at the podium and not about the substance of his address.
As the end of this Administration draws near, you would expect to hear broad praise for this success at keeping our Nation safe. Instead, I am afraid what we hear is a chorus with a rather more dissonant refrain. Instead of appreciation, or even a fair appraisal, of the Administration's accomplishments, we have heard relentless criticism of the very policies that have helped keep us safe. We have seen this in the media, we have seen this in the Congress, and we have heard it from the legal academy as well.
