Powell hits back at Limbaugh: Calling Sotomayor a 'reverse racist' is 'nonsense' (Video)

When will Powell just "pull an Arlen" and officially switch parties and stop calling himself a Republican? Seriously...

Tom Ridge Sides With Colin Powell; Goes After Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney (Video)

Tom Ridge says Republicans need to stop blaming each other and band together in order to distinguish the party from the Democrats.

He says Rush is "offends many".

I disagree. I'm not one of those slobbering Rush Limbaugh fans, but "moderate" Conservatives have helped create this Obama Nation we now live in. Only a return to true Reagan-Conservatism will help us squash the Obama/Pelosi/Reid revolution.

Colin Powell is a sell out. Contrary to what he says; he did indeed solely vote for Obama because of his skin color. I am not black and cannot speak for blacks. However, I can say that I did not vote against Obama because of his skin color. I voted for John McCain because I don't want America to become the neo-fascist communist dictatorship as Obama sees it.

If Colin Powell, a veteran and a so-called "Republican", voted for Obama instead of McCain, he absolutely should not consider himself a true Republican.

And for Ridge to defend Powell tells me all I need to know about that RINO too.

Colin Powell Says He Has Not Left Republican Party; Calls Cheney "Misinformed" (Video)

On CBS's Face The Nation: Colin Powell responds to "right wing" Republicans and Rush Limbaugh. Specifically, Dick Cheney's recent criticism of Powell.

Gen. Colin Powell said he is still a Republican and that former Vice President Dick Cheney is "misinformed" about his party affiliation.

Powell, appearing on "Face the Nation" Sunday, answered criticism from Cheney, who questioned Powell's loyalty to the GOP after voting for President Barack Obama in November.

"I am still a Republican. I'd like to point out that in the course of my 50 years of voting for presidents, I have voted for the person i thought was best qualified at that time to lead the nation. Last year I thought it was President-now Barack Obama," Powell said.

Powell said the Republican party needs a new look if it wants to stay relevant.

"I think the Republican party has to take a hard look at itself and decide what kind of party are we?" he said.

"I have always felt that the Republican party should be more inclusive than it generally has been over the years.

Powell also addressed criticism from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, saying his assertion that Powell only voted for President Obama because "he is black" was "unfortunate."

He admitted the influence Limbaugh has over the GOP is significant, noting the apologies he has solicited from major party figures including RNC Chairman Michael Steele.

"If he is out there, he should be subject to criticism," Powell argued. He said that while Limbaugh is perfectly allowed to have an opinion, he does not have "veto" rights over the opinions of others.

On Face the Nation earlier this month, former Vice President Cheney said that Rush Limbaugh better represents the Republican party than Powell. Clearly, the former Bush Secretary of State has other ideas.

Chris Matthews: Did Bush Officials Manipulate Evidence To Go To War With Iraq? (Video)

Chris Matthews and Richard Haass, former advisor to Secretary of State Colin Powell and author of "War of Necessity, War of Choice" discuss the War in Iraq.

Again, Liberal Matthews is the one manipulating the evidence. Did we ever find weapons of mass destruction? No. Did Democrats view the same intelligence as the White House and approve military force in Iraq? Yes.

Haass, like his former boss Powell, is a sellout and a joke and a traitorous fool. Richard is truly an (haa)ass.

"It's a big freaking question, because it got us 5000 killed," says Matthews.

Do Obama and Colin Powell Support "Bush Shoe Toss"? Who Throws a Shoe, Honestly!

From ABC News...

Colin Powell held a press conference in Washington, D.C., Friday, touting the launch of Barack Obama's new Web site, USAService.org, which allows Americans to find -- and to promote -- local service opportunities that are searchable by zip code.

President Bush's former secretary of state said he was on the site this morning and vouched for its usefulness.

But here's betting that Powell didn't have time to go through all of the events on it.

Wanting to see how the Web site works, I typed in my hometown zip code in Los Angeles to find events within a 10-mile radius.

It pointed me to several events, including a blood drive, a graffiti cleanup, and an "Obama Celebration and Bush Shoe Toss."

"Who throws a shoe, honestly!"

ABC also posted the link to the post which has been recently deleted.

Shame on you Colin Powell and Barack Obama.

Obama did nothing today except nominate "clearly unqualified" Leon Panetta to head the CIA.
