Just 42% of Americans Believe Obama Is Truly Bipartisan

This is going to so much fun over the next four years watching the polls and Obama's Clinton-esque forays into governing via public opinion.

According to Rasmussen, only 42% of Americans think the President is governing on a bipartisan basis.

64% of Americans give Obama a good or excellent rating.

The number who Strongly Disapprove has risen from 16% immediately following his inauguration to 24% today.

Total approval numbers climaxed at 69% one week before the inauguration and are currently at just 60%.

Gallup illustrates a similar trend. While approval has dropped just 2 points from 68% to 66%, disapproval has risen from 12% to 19%.

Barack Obama has been President for 14 days.

Indeed much better than the waning days of the Bush Admin., yet the trend is encouraging to our interests.

Americans are learning who the real Barack Obama is and they do not like what they see.
